As this site grows, we will explore each of these subjects in much greater detail.…

You’ll Get Through This: Hope and Help for Your Turbulent Times — Max Lucado — hope and perseverance through difficult seasons.
A Grief Observed — C. S. Lewis — an exceptionally candid exploration of grief, doubt and faith after Lewis lost his wife.
Hope in the Dark: Believing God Is Good When Life Is Not — Craig Groeschel — wrestling with God when circumstances don’t make sense.
Unshakable Hope — Max Lucado — centered on finding hope in God’s promises during difficult times.
The Purpose Driven Life — Rick Warren — explores purpose, meaning, service and one’s relationship with God.
Mere Christianity — C. S. Lewis — Lewis’s classic examination of the common foundations of Christian faith.
A Grace Disguised: How the Soul Grows Through Loss — Jerry Sittser — particularly appropriate for your emphasis on the soul growing through difficult earthly experiences.
Holding On to Hope — Nancy Guthrie — suffering, loss and maintaining faith through circumstances we don’t understand.
God Is With You Every Day — Max Lucado — a 365-day devotional focused on comfort, grace and encouragement through loneliness, grief and change.
Surprised by Hope — N. T. Wright — particularly interesting for Heavenly Chapel because Wright examines Christian beliefs concerning death, resurrection, Heaven and the life to come—even though his conclusions won’t necessarily match yours.
